Notebook Options
- There is a known issue where the Jupyter Variables and Restart Kernel buttons do not always appear in the notebook options.
Kernel
- There is a known issue in Workspaces version 1.3.0 where the kernel may become unavailable when returning to a notebook after a period of inactivity. In such cases, it is not possible to reselect the kernel. This is fixed in Workspaces version 1.3.1. See updating a Dash app workspace for details on updating and rebuilding a workspace to use the latest version. If you encounter this issue but can’t update the workspace, refresh your browser to continue working in the notebook.
- There is an intermittent issue in Workspaces version 1.4.1 where a “Reload Required” message is displayed in the kernel selection dropdown when working in a notebook. In most cases, this message does not affect functionality, and you can continue running cells without reloading.
Cells
- The border and type of cell on Markdown cells aren’t displayed.
- The error output in cells doesn’t render HTML content correctly.
- When you have truncated output in a cell, the Adjust cell output settings option in the output displays an error.
- There is a known issue where dragging cells in a notebook can cause the output in other cells to not display. If you encounter this issue, restart the kernel and rerun the cells to see the output again.
Browser-Specific
- Dragging and dropping cells in Safari doesn’t work.
